Department of General Surgery is a full fledged department providing round the clock service to the patients. The faculty in the department includes professors, associate professors, assistant professors, senior and junior residents, who are all well qualified, experienced, and treating all minor and major elective cases and taking emergency cases including trauma efficiently. Apart from routine surgical work they perform basic and laparoscopic work. All the surgeries are being done at a very low cost keeping in mind the economic status of the patients.
